A few days ago I took a trip to Moers – by tram and bus. Downtown Moers is very beautiful, almost romantic. On the way there sitting in the bus, I took a lot of photos with my cell phone, which I’d like to share here. The photos are almost completely unedited (and crooked 😉); I just resized them and removed a few people from the shots.
In some photos, it looks like it were already fall. It’s sad to see how the sun has scorched everything over the past few months. The third photo is the begin of my way back.
I think I’m living in a nice area. Here we are in Rumeln-Kaldenhausen on the way back to Krefeld.
At the Siemens Mobility plant in Krefeld (the historic Uerdingen railcar factory), Siemens manufactures rail vehicles. These include high-speed trains such as the ICE and Velaro, regional trains such as the Mireo (including alternative propulsion systems such as hydrogen) and Desiro, as well as S-Bahn and local transit railcars.
You saw the church and the city hall of Krefeld-Bockum. And certainly we passed the Zoo Krefeld before I got home.
